Just ask Martin Young, the new owner of The Parkway Inn in Bridge of Don. He was once a senior royal butler and personally served in a royal household for 18 months.

And today he is dedicated to helping you organise the wedding of your dreams, at a rate you won't find anywhere else. "We specialise in delicious homemade food made using fresh, local produce," said Martin, who owns the venue with his partner, executive chef Tracey Findlay. "We don't have massive overheads here which means we can design you an excellent package at a budget rate."Your guests can enjoy a delicious 3 course homemade meal, with prices starting from as little as £12.99 per head."And you won't have to compromise on any of the quality or attention to detail."

 

The Parkway Inn seems to be offering one of the most competitively priced wedding packages on the market to date with a great line up to choose from. “you can take our package which has nearly everything you can think of from flowers, photography and food to drinks, discos and cars for as little as £3600 all in for 50 people, and there is loads of little extras thrown in.”


Receptions at The Parkway Inn are held in The Highland Suite, which comfortably holds 125 people for a sit-down meal. A further 30 can be accommodated later in the evening, for entertainment.

 

Or if you would prefer a more intimate meal with close family and friends, you can dine in the modern conservatory before having a party in The Highland Suite later.

 

When it comes to the food, you will liaise directly with Tracey, who has a background working in executive four and five star hotels. Together you can select the perfect wedding menu for your special day. And there is an excellent selection of wines and Champagne to complement your meal.
If you choose to hold your wedding at The Parkway Inn, you will be invited to a personal champagne reception to allow you to taste your menu.

 

Under new management since around Christmas time, the business has undergone massive changes.
The restaurant itself has benefited from a £50,000 refurbishment, and the premises now hosts 3 new conference rooms and the Highland Suite which have had a makeover in January 09. The hospitality staff and management are all new and looking forward to giving you a warm welcome. So even if you've visited the bar or restaurant in years gone by, you should pop in and see what has changed.


Wedding photographs are a vital memento for your special occasion, and Martin and Tracey are developing a perfect location in the garden. This picturesque spot is due to be unveiled in time for summer. Martin has a host of wedding contacts at his fingertips and can recommend bands, DJs, limousine companies and more. Why are we so competitive you may ask...?

 

Well its simple, firstly we don’t have the overheads like some of the big hotels and other venues around Aberdeen, secondly we are not greedy when it comes to the wedding market, and thirdly all of our food is homemade and we buy from local suppliers and farmers therefore our overheads are lower and our quality is better.
